Our History
The company was formed in 2001 as a joint venture between an Italian manufacturer and UK employees to
establish imported sales in the UK.In 2006 the company became
100% owned by UK shareholders and in 2007 it started the development
and sales of its own Coolfast range of energy efficient display cases.
In 2008, the company was bought by its management and two new investors.
The new company was called Coolfast Manufacturing Limited, to reflect
more accurately it UK production strengths.
The Bond Group purchased Coolfast Manufacturing, a company based in
Telford in July 2009.
This acquisition will
complete the full range of products and services offered by The Bond
Group; from the conception and
manufacture of new cabinets through
to the core activity of refurbishment. Thus creating a cabinet
manufacturer with the full cradle, refurbishment and disposal solution.
The Coolfast range of ECA accredited cabinets will now trade under
the new name of Bond Display Cabinets Ltd.
The current range of
cabinets will continue to be manufactured in Telford by a skilled
workforce, backed by 35 years of production experience from The Bond
Group.
The Bond Group directors have installed an experienced managing
director in Harish Chander to oversee the Telford based operation.
Looking forward The Bond Group will provide more value to its
current client base in both the independent sector and the
supermarket\fmcg sector. |
